Assisting on creative direction, followed by producing various props, signage and bespoke furniture, Fort Productions worked on behalf of Slice Events to deliver the Google Executive Summit 2017.
The Google Executive Summit is a three day event consisting of various keynote speeches and panel debates, hosted at Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds - a venue synonymous with laidback luxury and rustic charm. We were tasked with incorporating the Google branding with the sophisticated surroundings of Soho Farmhouse, ensuring a seamless transition between the set design and its environment.
The event was a celebration of shared content and innovation in the tech industry, therefore it was essential to Google that the space was comfortable and inspired creativity, whilst staying true to their brand.
To display this content, Fort Productions constructed a media centre, comprising of a large bespoke television unit and partnering side tables, all finished in Google’s iconic colours creating an oversized and playful ‘front room’ setting.
As a backdrop for the panel discussions and debates, Fort Productions designed and installed a visually appealing setting, subtly using Google’s primary brand colours. The set was made up of a series of string panel installations, which were dimly lit in the evening. The use of textured material and atmospheric lighting visually enhanced the setting, bringing it to life at any time of the day.
The string theme continued through the main entrance and dining area, where a bespoke Google sign was suspended above the bar, accompanied by custom made steel rigs for floral arrangements, all created in-house by Fort Productions.
